In Himachal Pradesh, 72 roads have been closed due to rain and the local weather office has warned of heavy rains at isolated places on September 2. Officials gave this information on Saturday.
According to the State Emergency Operations Centre, of the 72 roads closed, 35 are in Shimla, 15 in Mandi, 9 in Kullu and one each in Una, Sirmaur and Lahaul and Spiti districts. According to them, 10 power and 32 water supply schemes have also been disrupted in the state due to rain. According to the centre, 150 people have died in rain-related incidents in the state since the onset of monsoon on June 27.

The local weather office has issued a 'yellow' warning of heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning at different places in the state on September 2.
