Kaithal, August 30 (HS). A youth from Kaithal's village Bandarana has died in Belarus. In the case of the youth's death, on August 22, information was received from the Belarus embassy that a youth named Vishal has died under suspicious circumstances. The body of the youth is in Belarus itself. After which the embassy informed the family that if the body is not brought back, the Belarus government will cremate the body. After this, the local police went to Vishal's house and confirmed that he is a resident of this village. After this, the family has appealed to the administration to bring back Vishal's body and investigate his death.
The family says that Vishal had called on 6 August and told that he had injured his leg and wanted to return to India. He had also requested his agent to send him back to India. However, the agent did not do so and the family could not contact the youth since 7 August. Kaithal SP Rajesh Kalia said that he had received information about the death of the youth. His family also met him in this regard. He had gone to Belarus through an agent. Under what circumstances he died and through which agent he had gone abroad is a matter of investigation. He has ordered action against the agent.
Surjewala said: Saini ji, if you don't want employment then get the body of the youth back
During a press conference held at Kisan Bhawan on Friday, Rajya Sabha MP and Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that he has demanded from CM Nayab Singh Saini that his body be brought to India. Surjewala also quipped that if PM and CM cannot provide him employment in India, then at least his body should be brought to India. The old parents are yearning to have a last glimpse of the light of the house which has died.
