Khunti, 30 August (HS). On the completion of 60 years of the establishment of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shashthi Poorti Samaroh was organized in Torpa NHPC temple premises on Friday. The program was inaugurated by VHP District Vice President Vikas Mishra, District Minister Virendra Soni, Block President MP Singh, Matri Shakti Convenor Seema Devi and Umesh Manjhi by lighting a lamp amidst chanting of mantras. On the occasion, VHP District Vice President Vikas Mishra said that it is necessary for Hindus to be united to strengthen the unity and integrity of the country.
There is a need to be cautious of the conspiracy to weaken Hindu society by spreading social differences. Virendra Soni said that the main purpose of establishing Vishwa Hindu Parishad is to organize and awaken Hindu society. MP Singh said that as long as Hindu society remains divided among itself, it will remain weak. Seema Devi said that every Sanatani should have knowledge of weapons along with scriptures. One should be ready to take up arms to protect his society and religion. Durgavahini convenor Bhanumati Devi said that we should not forget our values and dignity. Umesh Manjhi recited Hanuman Chalisa in Mundari. Amrita Devi, Devanti Devi, Manju Devi, Dulari Devi, Rinki Devi, Pinki Devi, Veena Devi, Sangeeta Thakur, Sangeeta Mishra, Mangala Devi etc. were present on this occasion.
