UP bus accident after colliding with cattle: 18 people have been injured in a horrific road accident in Shahjahanpur, UP. The accident happened when the bus went out of control and overturned while trying to save a bull.
According to the information, a private bus carrying passengers from Sitapur in Shahjahanpur district to Haridwar lost control and overturned while trying to save a bull on the national highway. 18 people have been injured in this accident. They are being treated.
Giving information about the incident, Police Circle Officer (City) Saumya Pandey said that a bus was going from Sitapur to Haridwar carrying passengers. As soon as the bus reached the highway in Thana Ramchandra Mission area at around 1 o'clock on Thursday night, suddenly a bull came in front of the bus and in an attempt to avoid it, the driver lost control and the bus overturned on the side of the road. 18 people have been injured in this accident.
The police was informed about the incident. On receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and sent the injured to the Government Medical College for treatment. Some of the seriously injured have been admitted to the hospital and the rest have been discharged after first aid.
Passengers said that suddenly a bull came on the road, seeing which the driver applied emergency brakes but the bus went out of control and overturned. After this there was a ruckus. Somehow everyone was taken out amidst the chaos. Police also came and sent the injured for treatment.
