According to the report, 10 lakh kits will be made every year.
This kit has been made by Siemens Healthineers Company. The kit will provide accurate MPOX test results in just 40 minutes. Siemens Healthcare Private Limited said that this is a big achievement for the Make in India initiative. People will soon get this kit.
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (Central Drugs Standard Control Organization) has approved it. The IMDx MPOX Detection RT-PCR Kit will be manufactured at the Molecular Diagnostics Unit in Vadodara.
About 1 million kits can be produced every year. People will get this kit soon. WHO has declared the MPAX situation a global health emergency. Earlier in July 2022 also MPAX was declared a global health emergency.
