General Manager of East Central Railway Chhatrasal Singh on Thursday conducted a thorough inspection of the railway premises including the junction and gave many necessary instructions. On Thursday, the General Manager of East Central Railway reached Saharsa Junction by a special train from Pataliputra.
Along with DRM Vinay Kumar Srivastava of Samastipur Division, several senior officers of East Central Railway including CEO Construction Ramjanam, PCCM SK Prasad, PCOM Manoj Singh, Chief Bridge Engineer AK Rai also inspected Saharsa Junction.
As soon as the General Manager landed at Saharsa Junction, he first inspected the new building under the construction work going on under the Amrit Bharat Yojana. He said that many long distance trains are proposed from Saharsa. Which mainly includes Pune and Bengaluru Superfast trains. During the circulating area inspection, the Railway General Manager said that no shortage of quality is being allowed in the work of the station building. After the completion of the construction work, passengers will have a good experience. Passengers will get completely new facilities at Saharsa Junction.
DRM said that the circulating area will be decorated with the culture and heritage of Mithila so that as soon as the passengers enter the circulating area, they will experience the new and the old. For this, local art will be promoted. The circulating area will be carved with the culture of Saharsa. Along with this, the memorabilia of Saharsa's culture will also be installed. On the question of 6 martyrs near Chandni Chowk in Saharsa on 29 August 1942, the Railway General Manager said that the railway will also honor the martyrs and the martyrs will also be included in the historical heritage.
