The second phase of the multinational air exercise 'Tarang Shakti-2024' began on Thursday at Jodhpur Airbase in Rajasthan. Air forces of seven countries including India are participating in this air exercise to be held from 29 August to 14 September.

For the first time, the world's most powerful US Air Force Chief General David W. Alvin, Australian Air Force Chief Air Marshal Stephen Chappell, Japanese Air Self-Defense Force Chief General Hiroki Uchikura, UAE Defense Chief of Staff Force Lieutenant General Eesa Al Mazrouei and Indian Air Force Chief Air Marshal VR Choudhary will fly aircraft in the skies of Jodhpur.

Air force chiefs of all countries will come to Jodhpur

The special thing is that the US chief will fly our indigenous fighter aircraft Tejas. India will showcase aircraft like Sukhoi and Rafale. From 29 August to 14 September, aircraft from seven countries will showcase their strength at Jodhpur Airbase. The joint exercise will begin on 30 August and the Air Force chiefs of all countries will reach Jodhpur on 12 September.

In this exercise MRTT Indian Sukhoi Tejas, 30 MKI, Rafale, Jaguar, Mirage, Hawks, Prachand, Mig 78, Pichora will be showcased. On August 29, India is going to showcase its indigenous weapons on the global platform through the Wave Power exercise of indigenous weapons of AWACS, IL and Akash missiles.

For the first time, the power of indigenous fighter Tejas and combat helicopter Prachand will be demonstrated against the world's most powerful air force. 51 air forces were invited

An exhibition of indigenous weapons and military equipment by DRDO, Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), HAL, defence PSUs and private companies will also be organised during the exercise. The Air Force invited a total of 51 air forces of friendly nations to participate in Tarang Shakti. Air forces of 31 countries are participating in the multinational exercise in India.
