Chhattisgarh Naxalite encounter today: Efforts are being made to curb the terror of Maoists through the ongoing anti-Naxal operation in Chhattisgarh. Today, an encounter took place between the police and Naxalites on the Narayanpur and Kanker border. In which three Naxalites are reported to have been killed. This encounter was confirmed by Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar, the police had launched a major operation against Naxalites in Abujmad of Narayanpur. Where sporadic firing is taking place. All the soldiers are said to be safe at the incident.

Amit Shah gave this statement

Home Minister Amit Shah has recently made a big statement about Naxalism. He said that Naxalism will be eradicated from the country by March 2025. A strong strategy is needed for the final attack on Naxalism. Naxalites were instructed to surrender by laying down their arms. It was also said that a new surrender policy will be announced in Chhattisgarh in a month or two.

Naxalism problem in 15 districts

At present, Chhattisgarh is the most affected state by Naxalism. 15 districts of Chhattisgarh – Bijapur, Bastar, Dantewada, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Kanker, Kondagaon, Mahasamund, Narayanpur, Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, Khairgarh-Chhuikhan-Gandai, Sukma, Kabirdham and Mungeli are affected by Naxalism.

On August 24, an important meeting was called to resolve Naxalism in Chhattisgarh. DGs and Chief Secretaries of all states were also called in this meeting. In this meeting, Amit Shah said that Naxalism will be eradicated by March 2026.
