Uttarkashi, 28 August (HS). Anganwadi workers have become vocal about their eight-point demands. On Wednesday, under the banner of Anganwadi organization, workers protested against the government by staging a sit-in in the district collectorate across Uttarkashi city. They warned of a fierce agitation if their demands are not met soon.
During this time, the Anganwadi workers have sent an eight-point demand letter to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand through District Magistrate Dr. Meherban Singh Bisht for the resolution of their various problems.
At the protest site, the district president of the organization, Vijay Laxmi Nautiyal, said that for a long time, Anganwadi workers have been demanding redressal of their demands. But the government administration is continuously ignoring their demands. Due to which there is a lot of anger among the workers.
