Whether it is the case of Balthari checkpost or the overloaded truck laden with illegal sand on the Banjari highway of the city. Two trucks laden with illegal sand standing near Highway 27 Banjari were seized while returning after inspecting the constable examination centers.
The mining department and the transport department were informed and ordered to initiate the process of imposing a fine on them. UP 53 DT 0144 and UP 57 AT 2891 were seized. It may be noted that 15 days ago, the SDO seized 7 overloaded trucks standing near Banjari.
SDO Dr Pradeep Kumar said that in the light of the instructions, 2 trucks loaded with over-loaded sand have been seized during the raid. According to sources, the work should be done by the mining department and the transport department. But due to lack of action by those departments, 100 to 200 trucks loaded with sand come to the district every day. From Mahmadpur to Banjari, trucks loaded with sand are parked on the side of Highway 27, but the department does not want to touch it.
