BSF has arrested a 20-year-old Pakistani youth in Barmer, Rajasthan. The youth crossed the border and entered Pakistan. Everyone was surprised to hear the reason he gave for crossing the border.
The BSF has arrested a 20-year-old Pakistani national in Barmer, Rajasthan. He told the police that he had crossed the border to escape from his girlfriend's family. The man, who identified himself as Jagsi Koli, was arrested by the BSF in Barmer on August 25 and handed over to the local police for interrogation on Monday. SP Barmer Narendra Singh Meena said that during preliminary interrogation, the Pakistani national claimed that he was trying to cross the border to escape from his girlfriend's family.
He ran away with his girlfriend's scarf
Barmer SP Narendra Singh Meena said, “The youth said he had gone to meet his girlfriend in Tharparkar district of Pakistan but her family members saw him and so he ran away with the girl's dupatta. He said he had also tried to rape her. He tried to commit suicide but could not succeed and crossed the border.” He said the interrogation of the accused is going on but the joint investigation by intelligence agencies will continue.
The young man said- I was lost
The youth said that while fleeing late at night, he got lost and reached Sapta village 15 km inside the Indian border. In the morning, when the villagers saw him and inquired about him, he started asking for the address of the bus going to Tharparkar in Pakistan. After this, the villagers handed him over to the BSF. According to the SP, a mobile phone, two SIM cards and a diary have been recovered from the youth.
The young man told the story, my girlfriend broke my heart!
During police interrogation, the youth told that he loved his girlfriend very much. I told her let's run away and she refused to run away with me and my heart broke. I had decided to commit suicide. I reached my girlfriend's house and took her dupatta from there and said that I will make a noose of it and commit suicide by hanging myself from a tree. I did the same but the branch of the tree broke and I survived. Meanwhile, her family members started chasing me, due to which I reached the Indian fence.
