Smriti Irani wrote a letter

Former Union Minister Smriti Irani had sent a letter to the Railway Minister requesting to change the names of these stations. On Tuesday, Chief Commercial Manager Hari Mohan issued an order to change the names of the stations. After the order is issued, now eight railway stations will be known by new names.

Not just the station names, but also the designations should be changed

The opposition is criticising the Railway Board's order to change the names of eight stations in Methi district. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said on social media platforms that when you get free from changing names, take some time to change its status and think about preventing railway accidents.
