Srinagar: Terrorists killed at least 73 people, including 14 soldiers, on Monday by targeting police stations, railway lines and vehicles on highways in Pakistan's Balochistan province. This is believed to be the biggest attack by separatist insurgents in the last few years. The terrorists mainly targeted vehicles, trucks on highways as well as railway lines and police stations. At least twelve terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by Pakistani security forces.

Nearly 73 people were killed in two separate violent incidents in Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan on Monday. The first attack took place in Musakhail district when armed assailants attacked buses, trucks and vehicles and killed 23 Punjabi civilians, forcibly separating tourists and checking their identity cards. The attackers also set fire to ten vehicles before fleeing the scene.

In another incident, armed assailants killed sixteen people, including four police officers and five civilians, in Kalat district. These attacks were part of a wider pattern of violence in Balochistan in which insurgents targeted railway tracks in Bolan, a police station in Mastung and vehicles in Gwadar. Fortunately, there were no casualties in these other attacks. Apart from this, BLA insurgents also targeted the railway line connecting Pakistan to Iran. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack. The BLA is a separatist organization that has long targeted workers and individuals, military or police, in Pakistan's eastern Punjab province. Other terrorist groups are also active in the area, complicating the security situation even more. Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, calling it barbaric and promised to punish the culprits. 12 terrorists are reported to have been killed in action by Pakistani security forces. It is worth noting that some extremist organizations of this province have already been opposing Pakistan's occupation of Balochistan and have been targeting workers coming from Punjab and other provinces of Pakistan. Earlier on April 11 this year, 11 workers were killed in a similar way in Naushki, Balochistan and before this nine Chinese engineers working at Gwadar Port were also killed. Earlier crops in this province. Fed up with the atrocities of the government-army and police, people staged a peaceful movement. However, now armed organizations have carried out the biggest attack. Gave an open challenge to the government.
