State Sports Decoration Ceremony: Chief Minister will award the talented players of the state on August 29 | News India

Raipur (H.S.). Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will reward the talented players of the state in the State Sports Decoration Ceremony on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The program will be presided over by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. The special guests of the program will be Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma. The State Sports Decoration Ceremony will be organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur from 12 noon.

Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade, MLAs Rajesh Munat, Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Indrakumar Sahu, Guru Khuswant Saheb will be the special guests in the program.

In the program, the state government will honour 06 players for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award for the year 2021-22, 06 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 02 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 11 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman and 11 players for Chief Minister Trophy for the year 2021-22.

Similarly, for the year 2022-23, 04 players will be awarded with trophies for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, 07 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 01 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 15 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Award, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Award and 24 selected players for Chief Minister Trophy for the year 2022-23.

Sports department officials informed that for the award years 2021-22 and 2022-23, prize money of Rs 76 lakh will be given to 97 awardee players, an amount of Rs 60.33 lakh will be transferred to the bank accounts of 502 medal winning players, in this manner players will receive Rs 1 crore 36 lakh 33 thousand.
