Bhopal: Corporation is continuously removing illegal encroachment, yet shops are being set up | News India

Bhopal, 27 August (HS). Amidst the continuous development work being done to make the capital Bhopal clean and tidy, the corporation has once again intensified the action of removing illegal encroachments. For the last one week, the Municipal Corporation has been running a campaign to remove illegal encroachments on the roadsides in Bhopal. The Municipal Corporation is taking action on a large scale to remove encroachments made by placing temporary huts, carts, shops and other types of goods illegally on roads, footpaths and other public places. But the corporation is not getting any major success in illegal encroachments, because recently the corporation had removed encroachments from Ayodhya Nagar Bypass, JK Road, Raisen Road, MP Nagar, but the same shops and shops are again visible. Overall, cleaning is seen in the front and the same scene is seen behind. The reason is that the corporation itself issues another challan to the people who set up shops and leaves them and the anti-encroachment squad again starts the campaign to remove them.

Similarly, on Tuesday, separate teams of the anti-encroachment squad of the corporation took action in different areas of the city and removed 132 handcarts, goods kept in front of 17 shops, 65 cutouts etc. which were obstructing traffic and confiscated 1 paan shop and 10 carts. The corporation staff, while cooperating with the district administration in its action, got 6 shops sealed and broke 2 roofs, confiscated 1 broken wooden shop, 1 handcart, 1 paan shop, 1 bench and, cooperating with the traffic police, confiscated 1 handcart, 10 iron meshes, 15 crates and 1 board from Vande Mataram Square to Bitthal Market.

In compliance with the instructions of Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan to take strict action to remove encroachments, the anti-encroachment squad of the corporation took action against encroachments in areas like Trilanga, M.P. Nagar Zone-01, Shahpura, Auramol, near Bairagarh Chowki, Bairagarh CTO, Ayyappa Temple, Jumerati Gate, Railway Station Platform No. 06, Bharatmata Square, Link Road No. 01,02 and 03, New Market, T.T. Nagar, Bhadbhada Bridge, Kolar, Salaiya, Danish Square, Mandakini Square, Dmart, Radhakrishna Market Banjari Hills, Karod Housing Board Colony etc. and removed 132 hand carts from the said areas and confiscated 10 hand carts. The corporation staff removed the goods kept illegally in front of about 17 shops.

The corporation staff, while cooperating with the district administration in their action, sealed 06 shops and broke 02 roofs, confiscated 01 broken wooden shop, 01 handcart, 01 paan shop, 01 bench and by cooperating with the traffic police, confiscated 01 handcart, 10 iron meshes, 15 crates and 01 board from Vande Mataram square to Bitthal market.
