Jaipur, August 27 (HS). The state's top police officers will prepare a roadmap for better policing by contemplating on issues related to crime control, law and order and public safety in the two-day State Level Police Officers Conference to be held from Thursday at the Rajasthan International Center in the capital.
Director General of Police Utkal Ranjan Sahu said that this conference is being organized in line with the decision taken in the national level Director General of Police-Inspector General of Police conference chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January this year in Jaipur. He said that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will inaugurate this special conference organized on the topic of 'Policing with Excellence-The Way Forward'. Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham, State Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Anand Kumar along with senior administrative and police officers of the state will be present in the inaugural session.
Director General of Police Sahu said that during the two-day conference, senior police officers and subject experts of the state will give their presentations in different sessions on issues focused on better policing in the state. In these sessions, apart from the ADG, Range IG and DIG of the state, selected SPs, Additional SPs, DSPs and Inspector level police officers will do 'brainstorming' in online and offline mode.
The Director General of Police said that topics like new criminal laws, artificial intelligence tools, drug trafficking and prevention, cyber security, crime control, check on cheating in examinations, crimes against women, control of crimes against children and people of weaker sections, road safety and traffic management and internal security will be discussed in the conference.
