Chandigarh, August 27 (HS). Before the assembly elections in Haryana, another alliance has come into existence. The Jannayak Janata Party, which was a partner in power with the Bharatiya Janata Party for about four and a half years, has formed an alliance with the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), active in Uttar Pradesh politics. This party is led by Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan.
Azad Samaj Party contested the elections in alliance with Rashtriya Loktantrik Party of MP Hanuman Beniwal in Rajasthan. Chandrashekhar Ravan is MP from Nagina in Uttar Pradesh and Hanuman Beniwal is MP from Nagaur in Rajasthan. Candidates of both the parties will be announced soon. Former Haryana deputy CM and JJP senior vice-president Dushyant Chautala and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) convener Chandrashekhar Ravan announced the alliance between the two parties in New Delhi on Tuesday. JJP will contest elections on 70 assembly seats while Azad Samaj Party will field its candidates on 20 assembly seats.
Dushyant Chautala had posted on the internet media on Monday night that we will keep fighting the fight of the farmers and the workers without rest, policies of Tau Devi Lal, ideology of respected Kanshi Ram. After the alliance on Tuesday, Dushyant Chautala said that we will work together for the farmers and the workers. Dushyant Chautala said that Kanshi Ram and Chaudhary Devi Lal have played an important role in getting Bharat Ratna for Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He said that both the great men always worked for the welfare of the poor and the needy. Dushyant Chautala said that Chaudhary Devi Lal got Chaupals built in Haryana for SC friends, took many historic steps like giving share to SC and BC class in numberdar. Similarly, JJP has also done works like giving 20 percent reservation in the promotion of SC employees, development of SC Chaupal. During this, ASP chief Chandrashekhar Azad said that our effort is to take Haryana forward, because Haryana should be more powerful. He said that the alliance of JJP and ASP is the power of one and one make eleven, both the parties will come on the ground from today itself and create a new revolution. Chandrashekhar said that all of us who strengthen the voice of farmers and laborers will unite and new powers will also join us, so that we can take this fight forward rapidly.
