Now, the Rs 777 broadband plan from BSNL comes with 100 Mbps speed and 1500 GB data. This means that the company has increased the data limit. Even after exhausting the 1500GB data quota, you can continue using the internet with 5 Mbps speed. There is no OTT (over-the-top) benefit available in the plan. Like other plans, the Rs 777 broadband plan also gives customers a free landline connection for unlimited calling.
You can adopt this plan for OTT
BSNL also has other 100Mbps broadband plans that you can buy. The price of these plans is Rs 799 and Rs 849. The Rs 799 plan comes with up to 1000GB data and offers OTT offers like Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5 and YuppTV. At the same time, the Rs 849 plan comes with speed up to 100 Mbps and 3.3TB data. There is no OTT benefit available with this plan. However, after the data quota is exhausted, the speed drops to 10 Mbps instead of 5 Mbps like other 100 Mbps plans.
The company is offering free installation
Currently, BSNL is not charging any installation charges from consumers for fiber connection. The installation fee of Rs 500 has been waived off till the end of the current financial year.
