However, the police have detained eight suspects related to this incident. Despite this, angry people broke the glass of a showroom on Ajmer Road while passing through the streets on Monday. The police had to resort to lathicharge several times to disperse the crowd at different places in the city. Due to the preparations of Hindu organizations to surround the collectorate by staging a dharna near the collectorate, the police stopped the angry crowd which was forcibly entering in that direction. Here the police had to use force. The police have detained about a dozen youths who were creating a ruckus here.
Three times the police had to face stone pelting by the mob, in which policemen are also reported to have been injured. Police patrol vehicles kept patrolling the city continuously. Under the leadership of ASP Vimal Singh, the police also took out a foot march in the city.

This crowd entered RK Colony and also pelted stones at the police in protest against the lathi-charge.
Some time after the lathicharge, some protesters reached in front of the Collectorate and sat on a dharna. The police asked these youths to end the dharna, but when the hooligans did not end the dharna, the police showed strictness and drove them away by lathicharge. The hooligans who fled from here entered the evening vegetable market, which created chaos there. The hooligans threw stones at the police here too. Due to this, a policeman posted in the District Special Branch got injured. On this, the police also lathicharged. Due to this, the traders of the Sabzi Mandi area closed their establishments. In view of the ruckus, most of the shops were closed in various areas including Bazaar No. 2, Gol Pyaau Chauraha, Netaji Subhash Market, Gandhi Bazaar, Nagauri Garden, Station Road. Most of the shops remained closed in other areas including the evening vegetable market. In view of the situation, police force has been deployed in sensitive areas. At the same time, the police is patrolling the markets and keeping an eye on the situation.
