Korba, 26 August (HS). On the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami on Monday, the State's Commerce Industry and Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan participated in the Sri Krishna Janmotsav organized in various temples of the city.
On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, a grand procession was taken out by the local ward residents from Rani Road Durga Temple located in Purani Basti Korba, Minister Shri Devangan participated in this procession. On this occasion, Minister Shri Devangan performed Aarti Puja of Shri Krishna. Along with the ward residents, Minister Shri Devangan showered flowers on the Shri Krishna tableau. On this occasion, while congratulating the ward residents and the committee on Janmashtami, he said that Shri Krishna is a source of inspiration for those who believe in the Sanatan tradition. Through the Gita, Shri Krishna has preached to follow the path of religion and he has also taught how to carry all religions together. Today, all of us should follow the path shown by Shri Krishna. On this occasion, Minister Devangan was accompanied by BJP District Vice President Praful Tiwari, Ward No. 16 Councilor Narendra Devangan, Councilor Dhanashree Sahu, Rakesh Nagarmal, Laxman Shrivas and committee's Vishal Sahu, Anshu Tiwari, Jayant Shrivas, Virendra Sahu, Rahul Tanwar and a large number of ward residents.

After this, Minister Devangan reached Shri Saptdev Temple at Sitamani. Where Minister Shri Devangan saw various tableaus made on Shri Krishna Janmotsav as well as Lord Krishna. The minister was overwhelmed seeing the live and captivating tableau of Lord Krishna. Aarti was performed after offering bhog to the Lord. On this occasion, Minister Shri Devangan chanted Radhe-Radhe along with all the devotees. On this occasion, Ashok Modi, Raja Modi, Gaurav Modi, Vaibhav Sharma and many others were present.
Apart from this, Minister Devangan participated in Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav at Kapileshwar Temple located in Pandit Ravi Shankar Nagar, Radha Krishna Temple Balko and Shri Ram Temple Balko Nagar. A large number of devotees were present on this occasion.
