Mumbai: The shooting of the film 'Welcome to the Jungle', which stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi among others, has been put on hold. One of the production companies co-producing the film is said to have left the project.

All promotional material related to the film has been removed from the production company's website, giving rise to a lot of speculation. Earlier, the film was announced to be released this December, but since the production has been halted, there has been a discussion on whether the film will be released on this date or will it ever be completed.

Controversies started arising on this film right from the time it was made. Earlier, Sanjay Dutt had left the film after shooting for a few days saying that the script of the film had no direction.

It was also revealed that the story of the film is constantly changing. Many times, after reaching the set, actors find that their roles and dialogues have been changed. There is a picnic-like atmosphere on the film set and no one works seriously.

Earlier two films of the 'Welcome' series were hits. Earlier there were criticisms that this third part was started only to surpass their success.
