Khunti, August 25 (HS). On National Polio Day on Sunday, in the presence of Medical Officer in Charge Dr. Kumar Alok Bihari at Community Health Center Khunti Maranghada, Block Pramukh Chhotaray Munda officially launched the campaign by administering polio drops to children.
On the occasion, the Medical Officer in Charge said that under this campaign a target has been set to give polio drops to 15606 children in the age group of 0 to 5 years in the block. For this a total of 135 booths have been set up in the block. On Booth Day on Sunday polio drops are being given to children in all the booths. On Monday and Tuesday polio drops will be given to the children who have been left out by going door to door. 270 Saheya and Sevika are playing an important role in making this campaign 100% successful in the block.
On this occasion, all the health workers of Community Health Center Khunti Maranghada along with other villagers were present.
