Mumbai: Jewellery prices in the country's jewellery markets rose again today due to the rise in the global market as well as the increase in the import cost of precious metals at the domestic level, market sources said. In the domestic market, the price of silver in Ahmedabad's jewellery market today rose by Rs 2000 to Rs 86000 per kg, while the price of gold in Ahmedabad rose from Rs 73800 to Rs 99.50 and silver from Rs 74000 to Rs 99.90 per 10 grams. The bullion market was officially closed in Mumbai's jewellery market today due to Saturday. However, there were indications in the closed market that the prices of gold and silver have digested this shock and have again increased.
