Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has criticized opposition parties over Amritsar NRI firing incident. The party said that the opposition is also politicizing a family feud and this incident is being deliberately linked to the law and order situation in the state.

AAP senior spokesperson Neel Garg said that the family of the NRI man has given a statement that he was attacked by his ex-wife's family members. This is purely a family matter, but unfortunately many opposition leaders are doing politics on it. Neel Garg said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself has instructed the DGP to take strict action against the accused. No culprit should be spared. The police is investigating as per his instructions.
