Dehradun, August 24 (HS). Uttarakhand Congress will connect one lakh people to the party through digital membership. For this, the social media team will run a campaign with a strategy.
This decision was taken in a meeting of the state and district social media department officials held at the state Congress headquarters under the chairmanship of Congress Social Media State President Vikas Negi and in the presence of Uttarakhand Social Media Department State Incharge Shuja Gandhi.
On this occasion, State Incharge of Social Media Shuja Gandhi while addressing the officers of social media said that all of you have to raise the voice of Congress party strongly and fearlessly on social media. He said that National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are continuously putting forth their views against the Central Government. We also have to raise our voice.
Vikas Negi, President of the Congress State Social Media Department, said that the Social Media Department is starting digital membership in the state. Through which one lakh people will be directly connected to the party. The state social media officials worked fearlessly in the Lok Sabha and by-elections.
He called upon all the officials and said that you all have to make maximum number of members in your respective district headquarters through digital membership. He said that the BJP government is constantly trying to postpone the municipal elections to hide its failures. This issue has to be put before the public strongly through social media.
