Chittorgarh, 24 August (HS). The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with great pomp in the famous Krishnadham Shri Sanwaliyaji temple located in Mandfiya town of the district. On Janmashtami, special aarti will be performed at midnight at the time of Lord Krishna's birth. A bhajan evening will also be organized. Preparations are being made on a large scale for the event. At the same time, the administration, police and officials of Shri Sanwaliya Mandir Mandal have visited and reviewed the preparations.
According to the information, Janmashtami festival is on Monday in Krishnadham Shri Sanwaliyaji, but the colour is visible two days before. For Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival, attractive electrical decorations have been done in Sanwaliyaji by the temple board. Also, the temple premises of Thakurji will be decorated with attractive colourful flowers. A huge bhajan evening will be organized in the local Meera Rangmanch Dome premises on the occasion of Janmashtami festival. In this, famous bhajan singers Lehrudas Sur Lahari and Akriti Mishra will present various bhajans.
Mahaarati will be held at 12 midnight
There is a possibility of a gathering of devotees at the Sanwaliyaji temple for two days on Janmashtami. But on the main day, Monday, on the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav, there will be a grand aarti of Thakurji at 12 midnight. Osara Pujari Kamlesh Vaishnav of Shri Sanwaliyaji Temple said that after the birth of Thakurji on the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami at 12 midnight, Thakurji will be bathed with Gangajal and will be adorned with attractive and grand decorations. After the grand aarti, Panjeri's Mahaprasad will be distributed to the devotees.
Officials took stock of the preparations
On Saturday, the Temple Board and administrative officials reviewed the various preparations for the organization of Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav. The Chief Executive Officer of the Temple Board and Chittorgarh Additional District Collector Rakesh Kumar, Bhadesar Subdivision Officer Vijayesh Kumar Pandya, Tehsildar Hemendra Meena, Naib Tehsildar and Temple Board Administrative Officer First Ghanshyam Jarwal, Administrative Officer Second Nandkishore Taylor along with the Temple Board and administrative officials visited to inspect the arrangements. Here, the preparations for the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav were reviewed at all the venues including parking arrangements, darshan arrangements.
Crores of donations come every month
Krishna Dham Shri Sanwaliaji Temple has left an indelible mark of its fame in the country and abroad. This can be gauged from the bhandaara (store) that is opened here every month. In this, devotees offer gifts worth crores. Sanwalia Seth is also called the Seth of Seths. It is said that businessmen start their business by considering Lord Sanwalia Seth as their business partner. A percentage of the profit made from this is offered as a gift to the partner. A donation box is opened here a day before the new moon day of every month, in which along with cash worth crores, gold and silver ornaments are also found as offerings. Along with the record amount coming out every month, in the last 8 months, an amount of 124 crores has come out in the donation box. Lakhs of devotees from every corner of the country come for darshan, who offer offerings to the Seth as per their wish after their wishes are fulfilled.
