Barsoi's in-charge medical officer Dr. Sumit Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the additional primary health center Karanpur and reviewed the facilities available in the hospital. During the inspection, he instructed the employees to maintain cleanliness etc. at the health center. During the inspection, Dr. Vineet Kumar, ANM Ranju Kumari and other workers were present.
Dr. Sumit Kumar held a meeting with the local villagers present on the spot and discussed the issue of hospital land. It is known that the Additional Primary Health Center Karanpur is built on donated land and the mutation has not been done yet. Due to which the main gate of the health center has been locked by Lalu Ghosh, son of the land donor. Lalu Ghosh says that in return for donating the land, one member of the donor's family should get a government job.
After the inspection, Dr. Sumit Kumar told reporters that if any complaint is received about an illegal nursing home running in Barsoi, then legal action will be taken against such nursing home.
