lpg cylinder price
The government changes the price of LPG and the price of commercial gas cylinders on the first of every month, so this time too, a change in the price of LPG cylinder is expected. Last month, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder was increased by Rs 8.50, while in July its price was reduced by Rs 30.
ATF and CNG-PNG rates
Along with the prices of LPG cylinders, oil market companies also change the prices of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. In such a situation, changes in its price are being seen first.
Rules Regarding Fraud Calls
Fake calls and messages may be stopped from September 1 as TRAI has directed telecom companies to curb fake calls and fake messages. TRAI has asked telecom companies to shift telemarketing calls and commercial messaging starting from 140 mobile number series to blockchain-based DLT i.e. Distributed Laser Technology platform by September 30. It is expected that fake calls will be stopped from September 1.
Credit card rules
From September 1, HDFC Bank will impose a cap on reward points on utility transactions, allowing customers to earn only up to 2,000 points per month on these transactions.
IDFC First Bank will reduce the minimum amount payable on credit cards from September 2024. The payment date will also be reduced from 18 to 15 days. Apart from this, there is also a change – from September 1, 2024, customers using RuPay credit cards for payments on UPI and other platforms will get the same reward points as those using credit cards of other payment service providers.
dearness allowance
The central government may increase the dearness allowance of government employees by 3 percent in September. At present, government employees are given 50 percent dearness allowance (DA), while after the 3 percent increase it will become 53 percent.
free aadhar card update
The last date for updating the Aadhaar card for free has been fixed as September 14. Aadhaar update fee is payable after September 14. However, earlier the last date for free Aadhaar update was June 14, 2024, which has been extended to September 14, 2024.
