Jind: Cheated of seven and a half lakh rupees on the pretext of sending it to England

Jind, March 3 (Hindustanism). A person was defrauded of Rs 7.5 lakh on the pretext of sending him to England. Julana police station on Sunday registered a case against a person under various sections including fraud. The police is investigating the matter

Lalit, resident of village Lijwana Kalan, told in his complaint to the police that he was interested in going to England. Due to which he had given the file to be sent to England to Jagdeep, a resident of Kaithal, who runs the Vigas Study Abroad Center in Cheeka. For which he had given seven and a half lakh rupees to Jagdeep. Even after a year had passed, his file was not filed. On which he asked for the documents and money back from Jagdeep. On which he gave two cheques. When applied, they bounced. When I tried to contact Jagdeep on his phone, the phone was switched off. When he reached his office he also found it locked. Rajkumar, the investigating officer of Julana police station, said that on the complaint of Lalit, the police have registered a case against Jagdeep under various sections including fraud and started investigation.
