IRDAI Recruitment 2024: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has released the official notification for recruitment to various posts of Assistant Manager. The application process has started and interested candidates have to visit the official website irdai.gov.in. The last date to apply is 20 September 2024. Apart from this, the last date to pay the application fee is also 20 September. Before applying, candidates are advised to read the important information related to the recruitment.
Vacancy details-
The Insurance Regulatory Authority of India has announced recruitment for a total of 49 posts of Assistant Manager. Out of which 21 posts are for General category candidates. 4 posts are reserved for EWS category candidates and 12 posts are reserved for OBC category. 8 posts are reserved for SC and 4 posts for ST.
Ability –
1. The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 30 years. The age of the candidate will be calculated as on 20 September 2024. This means that the date of birth of the candidate should not be before 21 September 1994 and after 20 September 2003.
2. Apart from this, SC/ST category candidates are given 5 years relaxation in the maximum age, OBC category candidates are given 3 years relaxation in the maximum age limit.
3. Educational qualification is different for different posts, so candidates must read the official notification.
Selection Process-
First of all, candidates will have to give Phase-1 prelims exam. Phase-2 will have a descriptive exam. After this, candidates will have to appear in the interview round. 160 objective questions will be asked in Phase-1 online prelims exam. For which 90 minutes will be given. Three papers will have to be given in Phase-2. Each paper will be of 100 marks and for this the candidates will be given 1 hour.
To apply, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 750 and all reserved category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Candidates will get a salary of up to Rs 1,46,000 per month.
