Fatehpur, 23 August (HS). The program of the district level Asha Sammelan organized on Friday under the National Health Mission was concluded in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Auditorium under the chairmanship of Chief Guest District Panchayat President Abhay Pratap Singh. The program was inaugurated by the District Panchayat President by lighting the lamp. In the program, welcome song was sung by Ashaas and magic was performed by the magician. In the financial year 2023–24, 46 Ashaas, Asha Sangini, BCM who did excellent work were honored with a certificate.
Asha workers from every block and city were honoured with block level first, second and third prizes, and Asha Sangini and BCM were honoured with district level awards.
Asha was encouraged by giving Rs. 5,000 in the first category, Rs. 2,000 in the second category and Rs. 1,000 in the third category; Asha Sangini was encouraged by giving Rs. 5,000 in the first category, Rs. 3,000 in the second category and Rs. 2,000 in the third category.
While addressing the program, the District Panchayat Chairman said that Asha and Asha Sangini make citizens aware about health by going door to door and play an important role in keeping the citizens healthy. Your responsibility for a healthy India is commendable, you provide vaccination and health facilities from time to time. With the inspiration of the Chief Minister, 67 medical colleges have been built in the state, out of which health facilities are available in 57 medical colleges. Earlier, the district was at 63rd place in the health ranking, due to your hard work and dedication, it is currently at 36th place, you people should work to bring the district to the first position.
The state government is serious about the safety of women, we all have to unite and develop the district and the state, this will only happen when people do their work responsibly and honestly. AAP works on 67 indicators under government-run programs like regular activities, community process, maternal health, family welfare, child health, vaccination, PMVY, RKSK, national program and has an important role in making people aware about health, so that citizens lead a healthy life. 2340 ASHAs are working in the district, who go door-to-door to make people aware about health.
