Saharsa, 23 August (HS). The controversy regarding the syndicate meeting to be held on Friday in BNMU, Madhepura is deepening. Syndicate member Captain Gautam Kumar said that he had given seven proposals to be included in the agenda of the proposed meeting of the syndicate but only five of his proposals have been included in the agenda released by the university. Two of his important proposals have been left out.
He told that one of his proposals was that the teachers fulfilling the eligibility criteria of aided colleges should also be given the responsibility of tabulator, supervisor and officer, which will prove helpful in creating the academic environment. Bhagalpur University can be taken as the base in this regard. The second proposal was that the agreement of the university with UMIS should be placed on the table of the syndicate. UMIS should not charge fees from the students for changing the college and subject.
He has written a letter to the Vice Chancellor and lodged his protest on this issue. In the letter, he has demanded to include both the points in the agenda of the upcoming Syndicate meeting and take appropriate action against the employee or officer at whatever level the two proposals have been left out. He said that he will also raise this issue in the Syndicate and if needed, he will take it to the Governor cum Chancellor.
