Ludhiana : On Wednesday night, a couple committed suicide by jumping in front of a train along with their nine-year-old son on the Dhuri railway line between Ahmedgarh Mandi-Kila Raipur. The train driver informed the station master about the incident, after which the police of the GRP station reached the spot. The police (Punjab Police) took possession of the three bodies and handed them over to the family after postmortem. The deceased have been identified as the couple Sukhdeep Singh (32), Sukhdeep Kaur (30) and their son Baljot Singh (9). At present, the police have started the investigation by taking the statement of the family.
According to the information, Sukhdeep Singh used to work as a lift installer in a mall. His family consisted of his wife and a son. All of them lived in Ghugrana Mon village. While his parents live separately. Sukhdeep was struggling with financial crisis for a long time. The people from whom he had taken loan were asking him to return the money. Due to this, he was very upset. On Wednesday night, he reached Dhuri railway track with his wife and son. The couple jumped with their son holding each other's hand in front of the Amritsar-Hisar Express passing through here. As soon as they were hit by the train, all three were torn into pieces and died on the spot. When the driver of the train came to know about the accident, he called the station master and informed him about it. After which the police from the GRP station arrived and took the body parts in their possession and kept them in the hospital.
Three fires burned simultaneously
After this incident, the family of the deceased was informed, after which they reached the spot. On Thursday, the post-mortem of all three bodies was conducted in the presence of their family members. Then the family members reached village Ghughrana with the bodies of all three. Here three cremations took place simultaneously and the family got an end.
