Ranchi, August 22 (HS). On the initiative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, under the leadership and guidance of DGP Anurag Gupta, a two-day state level conference of women police officers and personnel will be organized from August 23. This conference will be held in Shaurya Auditorium located in JAP-1, Doranda. During the inauguration, many officers including Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, DGP will be present. It will include 200 women representatives of constable, havildar, ASI, SI, Inspector and DSP level in all the district units of Jharkhand Police. This event is being organized for the first time in the state. ADG Suman Gupta gave this information in a press conference at the Police Headquarters on Thursday.

He said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren will be present during the closing ceremony of the conference. On August 23, this conference will start at 12.15 and will continue till 5 pm. On the second day i.e. August 24, this conference will start at 9.30 am and will conclude at 2.30 pm.

He said that the theme of this conference is women police, service, security and respect. In this, various points will be discussed including the problems faced by women police at the workplace, their needs. In this, the challenges, achievements and future action plan of women officers will be specially discussed.

These six points will be discussed

-Minimum facilities for women in police and welfare matters.

-Training needs and changes in approach.

Policies supporting the advancement of women in the police force.

-Lifestyle management for women in police.

-Forum for women in police.

-Contribution to society.
