Chatra, 22 August (HS). The people protesting under the banner of Rayat Visthapit Morcha at Shivpur Siding for 16 point demands including rights and employment remained present at the protest site on the sixth day on Thursday. Due to this, coal dispatch and rack loading work remained disrupted at Neck Line Hadgada Siding for the sixth day as well.
On the one hand, people from Shivpur and nearby villages have been protesting for the last six days under the banner of Rayat Visthaap Morcha for their rights, employment and dominance in the siding. In fact, the people protesting say that the local Rayats have been deprived of employment in the work of rack loading in the siding.
On the other hand, the local farmers of Kabra village who are loading racks in the siding have accused the agitating people of snatching the jobs of the original farmers working in the siding as part of a conspiracy. Khurshid Ansari, who is loading racks in the siding, said that there is CCL's Shivpur railway siding next to it from which ten to twelve racks of coal go to different parts of the country every day. In this, only ten to twelve people have been given employment.
