Taking the allegations leveled by the girl students of GNM College, Bettiah, on the Principal-in-Charge, very seriously, the DM requested the Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Bihar to take appropriate action. Also, taking this issue seriously, the Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Bihar has suspended the Principal-in-Charge, GNM College Bettiah, Manish Jaiswal, with immediate effect and directed to take legal action.
According to the information, various serious allegations were made by the girl students of GNM College, Bettiah against the Principal in charge. The allegations were investigated through the Civil Surgeon, in which prima facie the allegations were found to be true. Today, the girl students of GNM College met DM, West Champaran and informed him about all the issues of the college regarding action against the Principal in charge.
The DM immediately spoke to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department and requested him to take action. The Additional Chief Secretary took it very seriously and suspended the Principal in charge. He also directed to take further action. The DM also spoke to the Superintendent of Police, Bettiah, in view of the safety of the students of GNM College and asked him to provide adequate security to the students.
