PSEB 5th Class Exam: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will not conduct the fifth board examination from the session 2024-25. The board has issued a notification in this regard. Now the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will conduct the fifth class examination.
The detailed rules in this regard are yet to be finalised. However, the board has issued a note in the notification regarding the dates for applying for class 8 this year. After the release of the note, the management of government, aided and private schools are also in trouble and are asking questions about it.
It is being told that the board does not charge fees from the students of government and aided schools for the fifth class examination, while the students of private schools have to pay fees. Every year more than three lakh students of fifth class appear in the board examination. This time questions are also being raised about the fees deposited by the schools whether that fee will be refunded to the schools or the same fee will be sent to SCERT.
Anand Singh, member of Joint Action Front Punjab, said that if the board conducts the examinations then the students will be serious. of covid Even during this period, the board exams for students of classes 5th and 8th were not conducted, for which we had started by raising the demand repeatedly.
He said that a demand letter will also be given in this regard. Meanwhile, Board's Vice President Principal Prem Kumar said that this time the governing authority is SECERT. The examinations will be like board examinations. Question papers, pattern and other activities for the examination will be provided by SCERT.
