Dehradun, 21 August (HS). Business establishments remained closed in the capital Dehradun on Wednesday in protest against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh. People raised their voices by protesting. In Dehradun, various organizations took out an outrage rally from Gandhi Park and reached the Collectorate via Ghantaghar and sent a memorandum to the President through District Magistrate Sonika.
Doon Udyog Vyapar Mandal President Siddharth Agarwal and General Secretary Sunil Mason said that atrocities are visible through photos and videos of violent incidents in Bangladesh, in which our mothers and sisters and traders' establishments are being destroyed. Through the memorandum, a demand has been made to coordinate with the government there regarding the safety of Hindus living in Bangladesh.
Ashish Mittal, President of Dehradun Distributors Petrol Pump Association, said that all the shops including medical stores and petrol pumps remained closed for two hours in Doon in protest against the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh.
Senior police officials said the shutdown remained peaceful and no untoward incident was reported.
Demand to take appropriate steps from the government
The speakers condemned the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh and demanded the Indian government to take appropriate action. The officials of Hindu organizations said that Bangladesh has done an act that shames humanity. In Bangladesh, Hindu people are being dragged out of their homes and killed and atrocities are being committed against them openly.
The religious leaders said that India has played the biggest role in liberating Bangladesh. Today Bangladesh has become a country because of India. The people of India are facing atrocities, oppression and injustice and atrocities are being committed against women. Hindu temples are also being demolished. May God give wisdom to the people of Bangladesh.
Provincial campaigner Dr. Shailendra said- protect your own freedom

He said that it is the duty of the coming generation to protect the self of freedom. There are always people in the world who want to dominate other countries. We have to be alert and cautious and protect ourselves from them.

The Prant Pracharak said that we can see the situation. There is a lot of violence happening in the neighbouring country and Hindus living there are facing violence without any reason. India has a tradition of helping others. India has never attacked anyone but has helped those who treat us in any way.
