Gopalganj, 21 August (HS). District Magistrate Md. Maqsood Alam and Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat inspected various examination centers of the district on Wednesday regarding the constable recruitment examination organized by the Central Selection Board. During the inspection of Mukhiram High School Thawe, the District Magistrate directed the Center Superintendent to arrange for light when there was no adequate lighting in some rooms, the examination was going on smoothly. In this sequence, Block Development Officer Ajay Prakash Rai and District Manager State Food Corporation Kumar Kundan were present. Along with this, Islamia Urdu Academy Mirganj was inspected. Deputation District Panchayati Raj Officer Dharmendra Kumar and District Welfare Officer Ravindra Kumar Das were present.
9 examination centers have been set up in the district for the constable recruitment examination, where the examination of 4070 candidates was conducted peacefully under tight security and surveillance. In SS Girls Higher Secondary School, out of 1200 candidates, 762 were present and 438 were absent, in DAV Higher Secondary School, out of 900 candidates, 557 were present and 343 were absent. In MM Memorial Urdu Higher Secondary School, out of 850 candidates, 490 were present and 360 were absent, in B M Inter College, out of 724 candidates, 452 were present and 272 were absent. At the examination centre Dr. Rajendra Prasad High School, Hathua, out of 720 candidates, 453 were present and 267 were absent, at Mukhiram High School, Thawe, out of 600 candidates, 380 were present and 220 were absent, at Sahu Jain Girls High School, Mirganj, out of 528 candidates, 323 were present and 205 were absent, at Islamia Urdu Academy, Mirganj, out of 500 candidates, 330 were present and 170 were absent and at Shiv Pratap High School, Hathua centre, out of 500 candidates, 323 were present and 177 were absent. Thus, in today's examination, out of 6522 candidates, 4070 candidates were present and 2452 were absent.
