Ranchi, 20 August (HS). CPI and CPI (ML) have supported the Bharat Bandh called by various organizations on 21 August. On behalf of the CPI State Council, State Secretary Mahendra Pathak and District Secretary Ajay Singh have jointly issued a statement and made this announcement.
The decision given by the Supreme Court on the classification of SC-ST reservation is an obstacle in the path of upliftment and strengthening of SC-ST society. Social organizations have decided to observe a complete Bharat Bandh on 21st August from 6 am to 8 pm in protest against the decision. The leadership has decided to actively support the Bharat Bandh program. On the other hand, CPI ML state secretary Manoj Bhakt has also supported the bandh.
