Ranchi, August 20 (HS). The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday heard the petition filed by High Court advocate Rajiv Kumar accusing Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state's DGP and the ADG of the Special Branch of harassing him.
During the hearing, the court said that when this writ petition was filed, the case was related to the suicide of police officer Rupa Tirkey. This case is now closed and old. Therefore, the petitioner should withdraw his petition. In light of this, the petitioner withdrew his petition. Petitioner advocate Rajiv Kumar had accused Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state DGP and ADG of Special Branch and said that he has been implicated in the cash scandal in Kolkata. The ADG of Special Branch is monitoring him through police personnel and monitoring his activities. This is violating his privacy. In view of this, action should be taken against the ADG of Special Branch.
