Adani Group: Adani Group has released its Q1 FY25 (Q1 FY25) results and credit collections, showing excellent financial performance.
During the quarter, Adani Group's EBITDA grew 32.87 per cent year-on-year to Rs 22,570 crore. This led to an increase in 12-month EBITDA to Rs 79180 crore, which is 45.13 per cent higher than last year.
Adani Group's growth was largely driven by the group's core infrastructure platform, which contributes over 80 per cent of its portfolio EBITDA.
The core infrastructure platform comprises the infrastructure businesses of Adani Enterprises (AEL), Utilities (Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Energy Solutions and Adani Total Gas) and Transport (Adani Ports and SEZ).
Adani Group's fast-growing businesses, including solar and wind power manufacturing, airports and roads, now contribute 13.3 per cent to the portfolio's EBITDA, up from 7.2 per cent a year ago.
Adani Enterprises' solar module manufacturing recorded a sales growth of 125 per cent year-on-year, while its airport business recorded strong growth in passenger traffic, routes and customer offerings.
The transport segment also performed well, with Adani Ports and SEZ recording 29.62 per cent EBITDA growth and securing new port concession agreements.
The Utilities segment also reported EBITDA growth of 41.44 per cent, driven by 53.6 per cent growth at Adani Power and 30.3 per cent increase in operational efficiency at Adani Green Energy.
Adani has also made significant progress in the infrastructure sector with major projects such as the Vidinam Port and the Khawra-Bhuj transmission line.
Major Achievements
The solar manufacturing business (India's first and largest vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer) MSPVL (Mundra Solar PV Limited) operates the cell lines.
In the airport business, total annual passenger traffic at 7 airports crossed 9 crore for the first time. During the quarter, a total of eight new routes, six new airlines and 13 new flights were added across all seven airports. Additionally, 25 new brands were added following the inauguration of Lucknow Airport Terminal 3.
The roads business recorded its highest ever construction during the quarter at 730 lane-km.
Construction of 500 MW hydro-pumped storage has commenced.
India's first transshipment port, equipped with South Asia's most advanced container-handling technology, Vidhanyam Port was formally commissioned in July and will become operational in November.
