Actor Abhishek Banerjee, who has been a part of great films like 'Stree' and 'Bhediya', started his career as a casting director.

At one time he was casting for Dharma Productions, however, once Karan Johar was unhappy with his work and removed him from the film. The actor thought that this would ruin his career, but it did not happen. Abhishek Banerjee was the casting director of the film Agneepath, released in 2012. The film was produced by Karan Johar, while it was directed by Karan Malhotra. The producer of the film found Abhishek's casting so bad that he immediately removed him from the film.
