Ingredients for making Stuffed Besan Kachori
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 2 cups menda
- a pinch of turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 tsp pickle masala
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Oil for frying
- salt to taste
How to make Stuffed Besan Kachori
- – First of all, take out the flour in a vessel.
- – Now add carom seeds, salt, nigella seeds, and ghee and knead a soft dough and keep it aside.
- To make the stuffing, heat one tablespoon oil in a pan.
- – Then add asafoetida, cumin and fennel.
- – After this, add chopped onion and green chillies and fry for a few seconds.
- Now add one cup gram flour and fry it for 2 minutes.
- – Then add chopped red chili, coriander powder, and athana masala, mix well and cook.
- – After cooking for 2 minutes, turn off the gas.
- Add green coriander and mix.
- – After this, keep the oil on the gas to heat.
- Make dough balls and roll them out a few times.
- Make a ball of prepared gram flour stuffing and place it in the centre.
- – Then close it properly from all sides, so that the stuffing does not come out.
- – After this, roll it in the shape of a puri.
- When the oil is heated well, keep it on low flame.
- Fry the kachori in hot oil until it becomes golden crisp.
