This demand was made by the Central President of Rashtriya Yuva Shakti, Uttam Yadav on Monday. Yadav was sitting on a day-long fast at Albert Ekka Chowk regarding the incident.
While talking to reporters, Uttam Yadav said that today on Rakshabandhan, sisters are tying Raksha Sutra on the wrists of their brothers. For this, brothers also need to tie Raksha Sutra for their sisters so that women from every street to the city can be safe.
Yadav said that the Supreme Court and the Central government should give the gift of Rakshabandhan to the entire Indian people including the victim's family within 24 hours.
