Bhopal/Ujjain, August 19 (HS). Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reached Ujjain with his family on Monday and offered prayers to the world famous Jyotirlinga Lord Mahakal. Priests Rajesh Sharma and Akash Sharma performed the worship of Chief Minister Sai in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakaleshwar temple. After the worship, temple committee administrator Ganesh Kumar Dhakad and assistant administrator Moolchand Junwal honored CM Sai by presenting him a picture of Lord Mahakal, a scarf and prasad in Nandi Hall.
After the puja, Chief Minister Say reached Shri Panchayati Mahanirvani Akhara located in the temple premises. He took blessings here. The Akhara presented Prasad to Chief Minister Say and his family. Talking to media after darshan at Mahakaleshwar Temple, he said that today is the last day of Shravan. It is Monday and it is also the festival of Raksha Bandhan. I have come to Baba Mahakal's shelter with my family. I have worshipped the Lord and sought his blessings that there should be happiness, peace, prosperity in Chhattisgarh and everyone's life should be auspicious and happy. When Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reached Ujjain with his family, the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav welcomed him at the Circuit House and presented him with a statue of Lord Mahakaleshwar Temple.
