Marandi said that in 2022, 190 rape incidents occurred with women across the capital Ranchi, which increased by 22 percent to 232 in 2023. This year, till June itself, i.e. in just six months, the number of crimes against women has reached 113. If we take the average of rape incidents, 20 rape incidents are happening every month, but even after this, the Hemant government is not concerned about women's safety.
He said that the way the incidents of rape and molestation of women have increased under the Hemant government, it becomes clear that this government, which calls itself sensitive, is so insensitive on a sensitive issue like women's safety.
