Bhagalpur, 19 August (HS). On the last Monday of Sawan, a large number of devotees took a dip in the Uttarvahini Ganga of Ajaibinath today. Ajaibinath Dham reverberated with the slogans of Har Har Mahadev.
It is worth mentioning that today being the last Monday of Sawan as well as the festival of Raksha Bandhan, people performed puja in their homes and in Shiva temples, and sisters tied Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers. On the other hand, Shiva devotees performed puja in Shiva temples. Also, thousands of Kanwariyas, after taking a dip in the Uttarvarvahini Ganga at Ajaibinath, performing puja, offering Ganga water at the Shiva temple of Baba Bholenath, have set out on foot and by vehicle to offer water to Baba Bholenath at Baidyanath Dham.
Regarding this, security arrangements have been tightened on the instructions of the district administration at Ganga Ghat, city and Kanwaria path. Cleanliness drive is also being run by the city council. CO, BDO is also monitoring by deploying SDRF team at Gauga Ghat.
