New Delhi, 19 August (HS). The price of crude oil in the international market continues to fluctuate. The price of Brent crude is close to $ 80 per barrel and WTI crude is close to $ 77 per barrel. However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies (PSUs) have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel on Monday.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol is stable at Rs 94.72 and diesel at Rs 87.62 per liter in the capital New Delhi. In Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 103.44 and diesel at Rs 89.97 per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 104.95 and diesel at Rs 91.76 per liter, while in Chennai petrol is being sold at Rs 100.75 and diesel at Rs 92.34 per liter.
It is worth mentioning that in the international market, Brent crude is trending at $ 79.53 per barrel with a drop of $ 0.15 i.e. 0.19 percent in early trade on the first day of the week. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is trading at $ 76.39 US dollars per barrel, down by $ 0.26 i.e. 0.34 percent.
