Palamu, March 3 (Hindustan Reporter) Shyam Sundar Saav was shot on Saturday night in the district headquarters Medininagar. The criminals escaped after shooting Shyam Sundar four times. Shyam was a resident of Kandu mohalla of Sundar city police station area. He was shot at Kandu Mohalla Chowk near his house. In critical condition, he was brought to Medinirai Medical College Hospital for treatment, where he died.
This is the fourth incident of firing in the district in the last one month. Two people, including a woman, died due to gunshot wounds. Due to these incidents of firing, questions are being raised on the police system. According to the information, Shyam was shot in a land dispute. The criminals who shot were residents of Shyam's locality.
Late in the evening, Shyam had gone from his home on a motorcycle to buy vegetables. As soon as they reached near the house with the vegetables, the criminals surrounded them and opened fire on them. As soon as the bullet hit, Shyam fell from the motorcycle. The number of criminals shot was four. Two criminals were on motorcycles and two were on foot. After the shooting, everyone ran away from the railway quarter road. The shooters have been identified.
SDPO Mani Bhushan said that three days ago there was a mutual dispute between the deceased and those who shot him. The reason why he was shot is being investigated. Eyewitnesses said that the number of people shot was four and after the shooting, all of them ran towards the railway quarter.
